Case Study

Nori

an executive assistant service for families
Nori
Challenge

We started Nori to help give parents time back. As parents ourselves, we knew that many of the tasks that were taking up our time: scheduling appointments, doing research, planning meals, were repetitive. We conducted interviews with parents of varying family sizes across America and identified 153 distinct parenting jobs.

Approach

We plotted them on the calendar and discovered that there's a pattern to parenting work. That means we can anticipate these tasks, break them down into component parts, and schedule those bite-sized sub-tasks so you don't get overwhelmed. By doing so, you can feel comfortable knowing that we're keeping track of all the things you need to do, so you don't have to.

Outcome

Signing up for summer camp, finding a nanny share, registering for school, saving for college. Most parents wrestle with the same challenges, but at different times. Nori saves you time by anticipating these tasks and streamlining the research, best practices, and recommended resources. Then - if you need it - a skilled virtual assistant using Nori technology can help do as much or as little of these tasks as you want. We've designed easy to use tools to plan birthday parties and published expert guidance setting up a college savings plan. You get the best of both worlds: collective wisdom from thousands of parents' lessons learned and a tech platform that puts that knowledge at your fingertips.
